Headingley Stadium is a stadium complex in Headingley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The site includes two separate sports grounds — Headingley Cricket Ground, home to Yorkshire County Cricket Club, and Headingley Rugby Stadium, home to the Leeds Rhinos rugby league club. JLM completed an extensive programme of electrical and mechanical engineering works as part of a £40 million redevelopment at the 17,500-capacity site.
Our electrical engineering team undertook the supply and installation of new cable feeds as well as shortening existing cable feeds. We implemented isolation of the main stand and stripping out of redundant services. We installed and configured a new small power board for both lighting and power, a switch fuse isolator, and time-lapse sockets, as well as rerouting the existing CCTV camera system.
As part of a programme of mechanical works and decommissioning within the Pavilion Building and North Stand, JLM engineers supplied and installed galvanised steel trunking, flexible galvanised steel conduit, PVC trunking and flexible PVC. We re-routed building water supply and insulation, as well as providing gate house supplies and making safe staircases.
