Morrisons is the fifth-largest supermarket chain in the United Kingdom, with around 500 supermarkets located across England, Wales and Scotland.
JLM was contracted by the company to carry out the design and installation of an extensive programme of mechanical and electrical services for one of its newly refurbished supermarket locations. As part of the programme, our mechanical engineering team carried out the supply and installation of heating and ventilation throughout the supermarket, biomass boiler installation, provision of hot and cold water services and above-ground drainage installation.
The electrical works included the design and implementation of emergency, feature and external lighting systems, as well as carrying out earthing, data and small power installation, CCTV and intruder alarm installation, provision and configuration of the fire alarm system and installation of the telephone system.
