JLM provided design, supply and installation services for a range of mechanical and electrical works required during the rebuild of the Russell Dean furniture store, in Mytholmroyd, West Yorkshire. The work was completed as part of a £3 million project that was undertaken to rebuild the store after severe damage caused by flooding in the winter of 2015. The programme of works included:
Our engineering team carried out the installation of heating and gas supplies, alongside plumbing fixtures and general water and plumbing services. This included the supply and installation of water treatment services to improve water quality for use at the store. We supplied drainage and ventilation services to the store, including air conditioning for both heating and cooling and smoke vents. In addition, our team installed automatic controls and field wiring.
Our qualified electrical team restored and configured general electrical power and data connectivity to the store, as well as supplying and installing new lighting fixtures and controls. We implemented a comprehensive cable management solution and supplied lightning and surge protection to the property.
JLM supplied and configured an integrated fire detection and fire alarm system as well as access control and intruder detection systems to the store.
